You sure it wasn't because your SIM had expired? They just recently changed their policy to hold your number for 6 months. I had a friend who had a given the SIM to their parents, loaded up the card but wouldn't activate when they used it. Found out that the SIM had expired when they called Roam.

They should really stop users from being able to load a card or at least inform them when the card has expired so they can do something about it before heading out of town.

i called them and was put on hold for about 30 minutes and was told they had an outage due to an upgrade to make the network better which ending the morning of my trip. I'm guessing everyone was trying to find out what was happening due to nothing working

By the time it activated, I was on my way back to Canada. called them again yesterday and was on hold again for 30 minutes, to get a refund back. I guess once I have used the credit, I will be switching over to another provider. This was the 3rd time my sim didn't activate because of an upgrade to their network.

For the helluvit, I just bought a Danish Kringle. On sugar overload right now, but damn, it's good. Restocked on all the usual stuff, including that expensive, yet sinful uncured Sriracha bacon jerky. Off to casino............. god, I love retired life.

Tried their queso (short glass bottle, black label).

Not a fan. Was really sour for some reason. Movie nacho sauce was far superior imo

Yes, there are some not so great products in the TJ line up.

Sour, eh? Perhaps it was contaminated somehow. Did it smell rancid?

I'll put it on my avoid list.

Here's website of the bakery that bakes the Kringle I bought at TJ the other day. Damn, if I ever go to Wisconsin (where the hell is it?), I'll for sure visit their bakery.

O&H Danish Bakery - Award Winning Kringle From Racine, Wisconsin - Since 1949

Planning on another cross continent road trip............ places to see/visit on the list: Johnsonville (also in Wisconsin), Tennessee Distillery, Graceland, New Orleans, El Bastardo's place, etc.

Nah it wasn't rancid for sure. I think it was like they put too much brine/pickling solution from jarred jalapenos. It was that kind of sour. It was also way too thin which was a mixed blessing because if it was thicker it would be a lot of gross per chip.

That said, this is the first product that I've tried that I would never think to buy again. Still good odds in terms of trying new items :P

I'm munching on those Cacao Nibs as we speak. It's a small bag, so I think, yeah, I better get more, as I'd probably go through a bag in like minutes. I think the bag I bought is bottomless. Lasts a long time, LOL.

Just got back from Bellingham. Trader Joe's had some things I've never seen before. Fireworks Dark Chocolate bar. A bit of heat to them, plus it has them popping things inside. It was cool to try out for the first time. Organic Mango Passion Granola Cereal. Not sure if it's any good, but worth a try, I guess. I passed on the Shooting Stars cookies. Looked like something a little kid would love, though. Fig and Olive Crisps. Passed on that as well. Looked too hipster. Also Fig Butter. Really? Always wanted to try the Cowboy Caviar, so I got one of those. Stocked up on Cacao Nibs. Other than that, another wild and wAnderful trip to Trader Joe's.

Was there this morning. Checked out all the new items, including PBJ oatmeal bar, yuk.

Then I saw this Ghost Pepper potato chips. Freaking hell............... as in hot as hell. The hottest pepper in the world, so they claim.

Anyway, I'm too old for this shit and the bag even scared me. Someone else can go try it out. They are lattice cut, if that makes a difference.

Well, went on Wednesday and got me a few Fireworks Dark Chocolate bars. A few weeks back, there were like a shitload. Now only two stacks on a short shelf. Like most things from TJ, shit tends to disappear once sold out. Anyway, as I was paying for my stuff, cashier asks me if I tried the Shooting Stars cookies. I laughed and said, "Trix are for Kids." She told me I had to try it and that I woldn't be disappointed. So I bought one. $2.99, WTH, right?

They are pretty darn good. Chocolate coated, star shaped cookies with pop in your mouth stuff in it. Sounds like it's for kids, but I like it. They say the older you get, the younger you behave. I feel like a kid, man. Why be a grumpy old fart, when you can be a Peter Pan,

Anyway, it's MG1 approved. Buy it for your kids.

When you eat your Smarties, do you eat the red ones last......... do you suck them very slowly or crunch them very fast....... eat that candy coated chocolate, but tell me when I ask.......

Spoiler!

reminded me of that for some weird, weird reason........... 'cause I bite the heads off of gingerbread men first, then left arm (stage left), then right, then the rest in one piece, lol.

Yes, it's time for ritalin booster

I was there over the weekend and bought the sweet ghost pepper chips, sweet siracha chip and their siracha bacon jerky. The ghost pepper chips were not hot at all, miss vicky's jalapeņo chips is a lot hotter. The sweet siracha chip is not spicy either, didn't like it either. But the siracha bacon jerky was very good, expensive but will definitely buy it again.

Don't eat the peanut butter cups. Once you start, you won't stop.

Even after looking at the calorie count.

Was just talking with lilaznviper today about the ghost pepper chips. He didn't find it all that hot, either. I will definitely get it next time I'm there. I'm not into really spicy stuff, but if it's safe, I'll probably like it.

Yeah, I stopped buying the bacon, 'cause it costs too much. I was buying that stuff like it was borsht. They are damn good, for sure.
