Will I be safe to buy this phone from eBay and use it in Canada ?

I come across a decent GSM phone on ebay, the phone is Tested and Fully Functional but Bad IMEI. So cannot be used on T-Mobile.

I already type in the IMEI of that phone at the following web sites and nothing bad show up.

If I buy it and unlock the phone, can I use it on Virigin Mobile for good without any blacklist problem in future ??

I've successfully used bad imei phone(s) from T-Mobile in Canada after unlocking them.

Important to note that there is a difference between a phone that has been blacklisted and a phone that has a bad imei or bad esn.

It is however important to note what model phone you're looking to get because some of them cannot be unlocked that easilyor at all. ie: Galaxy S6 Edge, S6, etc.

Also to make sure you are dealing with a good seller.
