2002 BMW E46 M3 6MT Coupe *price adjustment*

Its time to put my precious car up for sale. Looking to get the newer e92 m3. Will take trade for 6mt e92 m3 coupe only.

2002 BMW M3
178,xxx km
Clean title, no accidents
Silver 6mt manual coupe
Black leather interior
$19,900

Modifications:

*Vorsteiner cs1 wheels 19x8.5 +25 front / 19x9.5 +20 rear
*Michelin pilot super sport tires 245/35/19 front - 265/45/19 rear(lots of meat still)
*Rogue engineering front control arm bushings
*ST XTA dampening and height adjustable coilovers with camber adjustable top mounts(4 months old) with shock tower reinforcment plates
*Hawk brake pads all 4 corners
*Milltek exhaust with supersprint section 2 pipe
*Aero ar20 resonator welded into stock section 1 pipe to tame the rasp
*AFE drop in air filter (factory intake flows best, had cold air intake but car was slower except for at redline)
*Evolve-r ecu software tune for 94 octane fuel(dramatic difference in driveability, ran chevron 94 only...always)
*Act hdss clutch kit with 15.5 lbs single mass lightweight flywheel (rev matches quick and flawless) freshly done about 7000km ago. This was the second time around with same clutch kit...i loved it.
*Rogue engineering steel braided clutch line
*Rogue engineering transmission mounts
*ZCP weighted and shorter shift knob
*B&M short shifter kit
*Osram xenarc cool blue intense d2s replacment headlight bulbs

Maintenance:

I purchased the car about 7 years ago at 89,000km. Has full service history printout from brian jessel bmw up to that point. After that i serviced the car myself with no expenses spared. Im a very capable red seal certified automotive technician with 12 years experience. This M3 is meticulously maintained with services done well before actual intervals. Oil changes always done with Castrol TWS 10w60 oil well before the intervals. Recently switched to liquimoly 10w60 because castrol tws got discontinued.

Mileages are estimates not exact*

*105k mark Act clutch installed along with new oem water pump and fresh coolant.
*110k mark Transmission fluid changed along with the rear diff fluid. Motul fluid in transmission, oem fluid in diff.
*120k mark Brake and clutch fluid flushed with motul fluid. Power steering fluid flushed at the same time with oem hydrauilic fluid. Bmw says most of these fluids are lifetime and dont need service...but i dont believe in "lifetime fluid".
*125k mark hawk pads installed, front rotors machined..they were still well within spec, rear rotors replaced as they were well worn in.
*130k mark got new bosch alternator(battery light came on, stopped charging)
*140k mark got new oem motor mounts and rogue transmission mounts installed at the same time(no issues, done just because i wanted em done plus i was doing stiffer rogue tranny mounts anyways)
*150k mark got new ebrake shoes, they were making noise but still had shoe life.
*165k mark got second ACT clutch kit(paranoid about how much life might be left so changed it...old disc still had life left but oh well)
*170k mark got new vanos seals from beisan systems. These seals are made to last drastically longer than the crappy oem seals. Around the same time coilovers installed and alignment done at dales in langley. They do the best alignments...car has never driven better since i started going to them. U can rest assured the front end is nice and tight with no play anywhere front or rear otherwise alignment would have been denied. Also it would bug the shit out of me to have any sort of play in anything. All bearings are still perfectly smooth, all brakes still meaty. I never raced the car or done any launches or burnouts...i dont care for that stuff. I like my cars being glued to the road and handle sharply so i built it accordingly, while still being able to comfortably daily drive it. Has some bumps and bruises from over the years, nothing major. All paint on all panels and bumpers is still the factory paint. You will be hard pressed to find a clean tastefully modified e46 m3 these days, regardless of mileage...this is one of em. I searched long and hard when i first found this one, test driving many m3's with many of them with multiple leaks or just not driving as well or as crisp as this one. She still drives just as good and crisp as the day i got it, well actually dramatically better with the evolve-r tune and the coilovers paired with the super sport tires.

I tried being as thorough as possible, there is probably little things i missed.

Call or text for any questions.
