Hoping to get the word out there, last night between 12:15 - 6:30 this morning my car was broken into and my wheels/tires were stolen out of my car.
What was stolen:

Tires Falken azenis 453 265/35R18
If anyone sees or hears anything please contact me here or my cell 604 417 7670 or of course the north van rcmp detachment. Thanks in advance for any possible help.

ICBC won't cover theft of goods from your car?
Hopefully you get them back regardless, but home insurance should cover it if you are fucked, but not sure it will be worth it pending premium increase/deductible.

Pretty much anything that is 5x114.3 and can fit big tires will fit them.
I think I've seen pics of them on Mazdaspeed3's, STi's, R32, R33, R34's.
RX7's, RX8's, 240's and Supra's of course.

Yeah I really get a feeling they icbc will give me the middle finger and tell me to screw off about the wheels. Still waiting on my case file number from the rcmp so I can see if it's worth it to claim the broken stuff on my daily.

I do believe they won't cover things that aren't "bolted" to the vehicle in some way, but looking through the website I'm getting some conflicting information on this. So who knows might get lucky about claiming them but not going to hold my breathe.

Yeah pretty much this, but have to admit like kchan said there are very limited amount of them here. Not to mention doubt there would be an same set with the same tires.

then the items in a car are no different from per say a netbook or ipod.
they are still pricey objects in a car. Receipts for the FFD's would help as well.
( i had a guy break into my evo and steal change, and a tie.... and that was about it... )

That's what I went looking for immediately after talking with the police I found my receipt for the ffd's and my tires.
The waiting game for my case number from the rcmp is the crappy part, I think I'm going to call them tomorrow to see if I can get one. Just want to make the claim and see what happens.

^ this, has to be bolted to the car in order for it to be covered under auto insurance policy. anything that isn't, including valuables (laptop phone etc) that are stolen out of a car would fall under a home insurance claim
