Acupuncture

Back in 2012 I had laser surgery on my right leg to get rid of my vericose veins. Since the day after I had swelling on the whole leg from the knee down , specially around my ankle. Fast forward to now, it hasn't really gone away. I still have this tingly sensation around my ankle and it's still numb when I run my fingers through it.

I had seen my doctor last year about it which he sent me to a vein specialist who all they did was put shots in my legs , wrapped the leg, and told me to elevate it when I'm resting. But I did that for a few months and noticed no change so I stopped.

Now it's started to bug me again how fat my one leg is compared to my other so I really wanna get rid of this. So this brings me to my question , do you think acupuncture would help and if so any recommendations for who to see? I tried to read some stuff on the Internet and I wonder if I have ankle/leg edema. Obviously I want some professional advice , and I'm hoping someone here has had a positive encounter with someone who has helped them that can guide me in the right direction.

All suggestions are welcomed! Thanks in advance RS
