How do you reset trip on 2002-06 Acura RSX?

Hello,

I have a 2005 Acura RSX and I have owned it for 2 months. Ever since then, I have been trying to reset the trip, as both trip A and trip B have not been reset since the car's previous owner. I pressed the trip/reset knob and it showed the two trips then reverted back to the k's. Dialing the knobs only dims/brightens the interior lights.

I know I sound like a dumbass and I haven't visited or posted on this forum for like 6 months but, can anyone help me reset the trip a and trip b on my 2005 RSX?

Doesn't work. After letting go from pressing for a second or two, it shows the first trip, unchanged.

on my work car you need to hold it down for at least 5 seconds. You're probably not holding it down long enough.

Thanks man! Real help. I just had to select the trip I wanted to reset then press and hold the knob and it reset.
