I can't quite comment yet because these units just came in today. But after doing my own research we've decided to bring in Thinkware for numerous positive reasons. Pricing, reliability, brand recognition, and features. I haven't gotten to try the software/app yet but overall seems quite positive.
In Korea they're actually the biggest dash cam manufacturer. Comparing specs, this look superior to the DR3500FHD at about $70 less while also using a SONY CMOS sensor.
Another great thing is that some of their DVR's come as a single channel and you can add the rear camera at a later date if wanted. Most other brands, you buy a 1 channel, you're stuck with a one channel or you buy a 2-channel.
I just got a newer vehicle and considering a 2-CH
Dash cam. After install and taxes. Price is up in the $9xx range fully loaded. What would i get for around $500 range?
