On a side note, I can confidently say that based on the responses in this thread, I can tell who was here to enjoy the "Good days" of Revscene.

The days where Buy n' Sell was BETTER than Craigslist or any other Used Sale Online Market and the selection and pricing was above all else. Phones I couldn't get from Craigslist or from local retailers sold on Revscene through users with connects back home for FAR cheaper. #senti-thoughts

Best - Nokia 8890 and 8800
Worst - Nokia Lumia 1020.... I have a love hate relationship with this thing. I hate Windows Phone but I tolerate it because I can't give up the camera. I recently got fed up with Windows enough to go out and buy a Galaxy S7 Edge... I ended up replacing my work provided S6 Edge with the S7 when I checked out the photos taken with the S7. It's still not good enough for me to give up the 1020. 3 years and I'm still using it. I'll probably buy another one if it dies and there's nothing available with a good enough camera.

Best / Fav - Nokia N95 especially the camera Carl Zeis.
Nokia N97 mini touch screen and battery for days.
Iphone 5, first iphone that went to 4inches screen size and imo the best looking and best feeling in hand those sharp edges. And the last truly black iphone.
Motorola Razr - everyone had these phone, super thin custom ringtones lol.
Nexus One - First time using android, really good phone only bad part was the trackball lol.

Worst - LG "Chocolate" crappy battery, controls unresponsive
Sony Xperia X1 had the specs battery touch screen etc but the OS was a mess running windows slowed everything down.

To be fair, there were a good bunch of V60s that were defective out of the box. I was fortunate to have one that worked well. :fuckyea:

if any rs members still have and want to sell their good old days nokia or 903sh, i would buy one

recently bought a boost mobile sharp 306sh thats rooted to replace my meizu, phones crap period

randomly black out and restarts itself, but not fully and your force to restart it again yourself

My favorite phone has been my HTC ONE M8.
It replaced an Iphone, and I haven't looked back since.

The worst phone by far is my wife's Galaxy S4.

Worst: Sony K850 - No idea how that thing managed to succeed the K800

Honourable Mention: iPhone 3G - Took a dunk in a lake, got dropped from thirty feet in the air and still didn't break, and is still running even to this day

Best: Likely a toss up between the Nokia 6620 and the Sony K790. The Nokia a tank of a media powerhouse at the time. I remember putting a full size SD card in that with 512mb?, felt like I had the entire worlds music library with me.

Worst: Iphone 3G. Was super exciting in the beginning but man did that thing start showing its age super fast. The 3GS was what the phone should have started out with. Moved on to a blackberry in no time, gotta get dat BBM.:smug:

Yeps, mine kept randomly restarting, especially if i was on a call. I sent it in to motorola, and they gave me a T720 as a replacement. The V60 was a good looking phone though.

best: sharp 903sh or nokia n73
Worst: my current samsung s6. lags terribly 70% of the time, terrible battery life.
New 6.0 update that just came out last week fixed lag issues but I'm still quite salty from my experience. Took wayyy too long for samsung/rogers to release this update.
waiting on the next google pixel phone to come out.

I think the last time +Kardboard+ posted was when he was selling one of his bricks. Him and darthchili were very active in phone chat iirc. Like parm104 said, RS was the teen/young adult's Craigslist before Craigslist existed. The buy and sell forums flourished with phones, clothes and car parts. The days before the R35 became permanently embedded in the banner.

thread just reaffirmed I want to go back to a flip phone ..i dont even stream music/videos so just basic social media and e-mail with good camera is adequate for me.

Hands down, ahead of its time, and paired with a data plan, it clearly was king. Shitty camera tho.

Best: Nokia E72 NAM. Loved the thing. The Nexus 5 on the latest PureNexus ROM that I'm still using is a close second. I really, really liked my Palm Treo 650 Black Tie Edition too. Modded the thing with a short antenna and custom ROM too haha Look it up. :p Really loved the 903SH, 904SH too. Wish I kept them. The P905i was sweet too.

Worst: Palm Treo 750/750v. Windows Mobile 5.0 ruined it. I hated it. I miss Palm. :(

The chocolate gave me a lot of headaches at work during this time. the touch buttons were ahead of its time and it looked good,however, once weather got cold,the thing broke. really disappointing.

Aside from that,best part is meeting some great people via the RS buy/sell, this phone section and the BBM chat group

a lot of which to this day, we still keep in touch, and to go beyond that, some of them people I call bros.
