Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 advice

Am thinking of getting a 3000gt vr4, Wanted to see if people would recommend it as a good car to get. Pros and cons about the vehicle? Do not want to race or make it a track car, just enjoy it stock, maybe tune it abit. Lemme know thanks!

thunderbolt! loved that movie when it first came out back in the day. i could only watch it on a bootleg vcd lol... and then i found out that gt-r in the beginning was just a gts-t type-m. fail.

i have to look for it, but there is a 20 minute long video made by a jdm exporter at an auction in japan going over a 3000gt showing everything that was wrong with it (there was a lot hence the long video) as the reason why he does not recommend the 3000gt to anyone... when it goes wrong, it can be a huge money pit.

Rare car that is nostalgic for some. Get ready to spend $$$$ when something goes wrong though.

Kinda put that car in line with the Subaru SVX for cars I've had a soft spot for.

Berz out.

I had a Stealth R/T Twin Turbo over 10 years.

Brilliant car, amazingly reliable, goes fast cheap.

Difficult to work on, expensive parts, no one knows what the fuck you are talking about.

The 3000GT is awesome! There are some really nicely modded 3000GTs out there

If you prefer non-widebody, Veilside has some good kits...they need to be lowered though.

I really like the 3000GT's, it was also my go to car for Gran Turismo hah.

I personally would keep it stock btw, but I like to keep my cars clean too.
