| What to do after minor accident?
Last Friday my wife was driving my car (we own only one car and it's on my name). She stopped at a stop sign near holdom skytrain station. Suddenly she loosen the brake i guess and touched the front car. The lady of that car didn't say anything that day after both looked at the cars. Now after 3 days she called and said there is damage and she got sick standing in rain (it was raining Friday evening).
I've attached the photo of that car that my wife took.

After you're involved in an accident (no matter how minor), ICBC gives everyone an absurd amount of time to report it. I think it's like a year or something.
Send your photo in and claim there was no damage. ICBC will ask to bring both cars.
Also fuck that woman. Got sick standing in the rain...shake my fucking head.

Completely unrelated, every now and then I'd be sitting at a red light, knowing it's gonna be a while. And there are certain cars that lurch forward a tad, randomly.
The light is still red, everyone is still stopped, and one car will inch forward, then brake hard. And then inch forward a bit more and brake hard again. Repeat.
I've always wondered what the fuck. Are they super anxious to gun it off the line? Do their legs hurt if stepping on the brake pedal for so long? Maybe they heard some stupid bs that staying on your brakes too long is bad for the car?
Now I know that it is just OP's wife.

In the rain, I doubt you can really see if there's damage. Get ICBC to do a matchup.
If she missed work due to stress/sickness/injury etc, she can possibly make a claim for loss wages. For a simple fever/cold, tell her to take Tylenol.  | |

icbc will take care of it, it's their job. do what inv4zn said. i hope icbc will read her the riot act if she tries to make a claim for getting sick standing in the rain. chances are they'll just tell her to fuck off

As stated above. Take the first step, go ahead and contact ICBC and get those photos into them. At least it's then on record of there being no/minimal damage to the vehicle. Then they can deal with her sniffles.

Even if there is any damage done i am willing to pay it. I hope icbc will not charge for getting sick standing in the rain for 5 minutes.
I wanted to know the procedures.

On a serious note, report to ICBC and ICBC will bill you. Your premiums only go up if you don't pay for the bill. Never settle privately. ICBC will also assess the damage so the other party doesn't jack up the repair cost with the bodyshop they chose. (Not too much anyways)
