Play around my buddy's pixel today. Very solid phone. The build quality is easily up there with iPhone and other flagship Android devices.
Phenomenal camera as many have reviews have said, but the real kicker is the Google Assistant. Holyshit this thing can understand anything even with my Chinese/Spanish-accented Engrish. And we were using it in a car environment, it was great that you could just talk to the phone and ask it to navigate/find stuff for you. It's a great addition given our current no HH device while driving rule in place. Just "ok google" and throw anything at it.
I can't wait for my Google Home to arrive, the first step toward a futuristic home is here.
im geting the xl, biggest factor is the unlimited online storage (stock os helps too)
especially with the amount of pictures and files i have of the kids its worth it in the long run.
Does anyone know if the unlimited storage is linked to the phone or to the account? cuz carrying it over even after switching phones later on would be awesome LOL
Is it worth it to get the Google Device Protection for the phone? Was originally going to get a OP3 but seeing as how it's not shipping until 4 weeks, I think I want to get a Pixel instead.
yea though id rather wait for the 128gb version, the ones available are only 32gb especially if i want to load up some movies and what not for long trips, though i could just use a tablet for that lol ....sigh

i just load up movies on a usb thumb drive and connect that to the pixel with the OTG dongle and stream my movies through there.
For those who have it, is it worth the price? I know most people are saying that it isnt but it seems like the people who actually own the phone are really liking it. Also, does anyone have any experience with the extended warranty from google? Been on the fence about getting this phone since it came out.
Ordered one yesterday with Rogers, get an extra 2 gb of data/month for a year and a $50 for Google play. Out of stock so will see it within a few weeks.

i have it and i love it.
the price is pretty heavy, but i did buy a blackberry priv outright when it first came out though so it's not too bad for me.
very solid phone, very fast, charging is really quick, camera is very good.
and man.. no lag on snapchat. i've always had lag whenever i used snapchat on other phones before but with this, it was smooth.
