I think the initial charge up to ~ 80% is fast, then after that it slows down pretty dramatically. For reference Nathan K (independent) and Benson (of Google) have created resources for safe and fast charging: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...gid=1288176877 https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...zbA/edit#gid=0 Benson Leung - USB PD Rules The Best USB-C Chargers: What's Safe and What's Dangerous? Nathan K Google Plus Benson Leung Google Plus I'm not the first person to nerd out, but unfortunately I had to when my Pixel didn't ship with a charger. All in all, I'm glad I did. Turns out my father isn't a crazy nut, and he was right about this stuff LOL. |
not as fast as my one plus 5 dash charge that shit is life saving! |

What's interesting is that on the pixel when changing with the 1+ charger, it shows as charging rapid, but its anything but rapid. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk |
yeah its my first oneplus device and am very impressed with it over all. I think wireless charging is kind of useless since you cant use it when its on the charging pad. Atleast with dash charge you use the phone and its fast charging up... |
Wireless charging is useless unless you plan to charge overnight or if you have something like Samsung’s fast wireless charging. |
aren't the majority of the charging happening overnight? it's a small step towards wifi charging when battery size no longer matters much |
What a let down Pixel 2. |
For what it is, it's pretty rad. |
The new pixels looks great. The addition of OIS with googles EIS should make for some terrific photos. The price is about par for the course in the case of flagship smartphones. |
It's fucking crazy that the price range is $900 to almost $1300. |
same price as last year your days of buying a Google phone for $299 (even if it was a piece of crap) is long gone will hold my judgement on the squeeze function until I try it...seems pointless because finger unlock is almost instantaneous http://i2.cdn.turner.com/money/dam/a...ss-780x439.png last year's dig at Apple...then removes it on their devices a mere 12 months later :rukidding: and wheretf is wireless charging? :die: |

Keep me posted if you figure it out |
No wireless charging, and it's only water resistant. If you want to charge Apple prices at least come out with all the features other premium brands are offering. |
Wow. What a disappointment. Hopefully they design something better next year after purchasing part of HTC mobile. |
my pixel's been acting up lately. randomly reboots itself from time to time. and my phone app doesn't work, can't make calls or receive calls. anyone else having this issue? |
Curious what were you guys expecting? |
^ headphone jack to not be removed? canadians are also not too happy with an outdated exchange rate...doesn't matter to me i'm switching apple...if im going to be gouged might as well try something new anyone know if the voice translation is any decent in the current stage? |
Better pricing :ohgodwhy: Quote:

Only water resistant? It's IP 67 rated though. |
if you go through US site, my pixel xl will fetch $400 credit https://s20.postimg.org/4rr8dpc9p/screenshot_68.jpg |
