I am on my 3rd S8+ replacement for pink edges and I have the 4th one on its way. The update slightly reduced the pink edges on the left/right side but made the top edge blue.

On a side note, I am selling a carbon fibre dbrand skin. Check out the buy and sell section

I like Samsung phones but as I've said before, their after sales support is one of the worst.

i noticed that if i turn on the "blue light filter", then my phone turns red/pink.

So i just keep it off

No issues w/ my S7E on that same feature tho

Are you sure about that? The bue light filter should only make the display warmer. Like how f.lux does on a Mac.

yeah...it's the samsung equivalent of what apps like twilight or f.lux do. you don't get to customize the intensity or hue like the apps, which is why i still use the apps and not the blue light filter function, but that's the intention.

So my note 3 died and needed a phone badly.
Wanted note 8 but couldnt wait, so i got the S8+ Grey

I like the phone alot. Only a few things i dislike.

1. position of the Bixby button. its where i rest my thumb
2. headphone jack on bottom instead of top

I also bought a UAG Plasma case for it.

The wallet case gets kind of annoying to use everyday. What it's great for is nights out. It allows you to roll without a wallet and you just bring the essentials with you. Licence, CC and maybe debit card. There's also a pocket just under the card slots that you can stuff some cash into.

Alcantara case looks so damn good and I'm sure it feels even better. Only real downside I can see to it is the price..

As for a case with a kickstand? I'd go with the spigen tough armour or the ultra hybrid s.

I've been debating on getting the Alcantara case since I watched the Flossy Carter video on it. $80 for a non-battery case though is a bit hard to swallow. If you are looking for a kickstand case Case Mate sells one and Spigen sells 3 different ones. Spigen also sells a metal kickstand that you can just stick to a case of your choosing.

Nice case. I got mine in Friday. I like how it's so slim. In pictures looks so bulky. I work with my hands alot and this case just feels soft and smooth . I had a UAG case. Great protection but a bit rough on my hands.

What are your thoughts on it?
