This pisses me off to no end. I understand that in a brick and mortar sales environment they want the eye catching vibrant displays to wow shoppers, buy give us the ability to get sRGB-like display accuracy in settings. I've adjusted my Axon 7 as best as possible and I still have bad black crush and color detail is washed out.

theres an option to turn X-Reality On, or turn VIVID Mode on, or go with neither, but i notice no changes with them off :crazy2:

ah well :/

the screens extremely sensitive too... i have it suspended in my pocket but it'll still turn on and click all over the place, will end up texting people garbled messages, or changing settings etc etc lol (no i dont have glove mode on)

Do you think this is caused by the fingerprint sensor or a double tap to wake function? I know the OnePlus 3 has a well reported issue with the front fingerprint sensor. If put in pocket facing your leg, your thigh will be read by the sensor over and over, getting the phone hot and wasting battery. Last time I looked the only fix was to face the phone away from your leg.

Ahh yep I think it was the double tap to wake, turning that off seems to have settled it down

lol I mentioned that in skinnypups thread about how his phone could possibly be listening to him. I've double tap to turn on and turn off the screen on my Z3 and I'll pocket text/dial every now and then.

How big is the phone when you hold it in your hands? I'll be looking for a new phone in the near future but I don't want a brick sized phone sitting in my pocket.

doesn't it show a stock image/video when you're adjusting to see the difference?

I have it off on battery mode and it helps with battery life

does your light sensor take a few seconds to adjust screen brightness? My Z5's always too dark for photos/vids in dimly lit-places...but does OK in sunlight :rukidding:

what got me, is when i plugged in my headphones for the first time, and the phone asked for permission to record sounds to better my listening experience :heckno:

uhm its the same size as the Nexus 5, except its about .5-1" longer but the phone is slippery! more than the N5, which i thought acted like a block of ice! the Sony keeps falling out of my pockets if i have it in there when im sitting, ive already had it drop on the ground several times from getting out of my car lol

yeah it shows a difference in the stock photo/video, but when i actually go and take a look at say an album cover from my music, there is no change, just as unreal looking as before, and when you compare the same image on my nexus 5 it makes the nexus look washed out (even though the N5s is probably the most realistic looking)

i usually hate adaptive brightness, but ive left it on on this, and i havent had a problem with it, i forget that its on, as usually i notice the change and it annoys me, i had to go look at the settings just now to see if i did have it on
