Releases this friday! Anyone else getting it?

I really want to but what a time sink. Also Civ games are almost always 10X better after the first expansion.

And another 10x better after the second expansion

I'll probably get it this summer. Between work and school, I just don't have the time for a game that tends to suck hours away without even noticing.

was actually thinking about the CIV series the other day.. never really played one before and kinda wanted to try, might be the perfect timing

never played any civilization game or SIMS game

always was a shooter / moba player

Might try it out with le GF and waste time lols

Civ 5 is still pretty fun...but yeah, it's a huge time sink.

Civ and total war. Time sunk for sure. But who cares you gotta finish building that stack to wreck those pesky Ottoman Turks.

Any1 played?

I played 1 Prince "Play Now" games. Very detailed. Especially love the music played during the game. Amazing. Also the animation of the character (fat Chinese emperor and Kongo emperor comes to mind).

Game-start rush is real as there is no penalty to add new settlement. New concept of combining units through corps (2x) and army (3x) is very nice.

The game has a lot of deep details but the sleek UI makes managing everything quite easy,

Dammit why doesn't GMG accept Bitcoin any more.. 20% off is a deal breaker for me for a $60 game WutFace

I don't know why I can never get used the civ gameplay, maybe I am more into CC/AOE type of games.

My friends are doing a Civ VI LAN party next weekend, so I guess I'm buying it earlier than I planned to.

I've played about 3-4 hours, and so far it's quite good but not hooking me like Civ V did. I doubt I'll hit 200 hours like I did with that one, but it'll just be the one I choose when I feel like playing Civ.
