i think it just ends up hurting sales....PS4 launch there was a whole fuck load & everyone got one.
limited supply?,i think people will just say fuck it and wait for a price drop to win them back over if they pull an apple,Nintendo almost killed it's self with the Wii-u how badly they barely had any other Game companies involved...Now that's all they rave about for Switch, game company's returned.
There's so many people happy with PS4,or Xbox one and paying for services at 50 dollar a year...Switch is gonna be in the mix for a paid service?..okay...GG $150 on online gaming with the internet bill.
Who knows? But if I'm out I'd like to not have to think about bringing a charger with me everywhere. You think if the 3DS had battery life like that people would be happy?
I've owned every home console Nintendo has ever made, so I don't have it out for them but considering they pretty much abandoned the Wii U a couple years after it launched to work on this I expected more.
it's trying to be innovative and that's killing them. People are just looking an affordable platform that will have lots of games. Exclusive titles don't have the same weight it did 15-20+ years ago. Motion control wears out after a few months.
2.5 hour battery life may not matter to me because it's not my primary gaming machine but it will for sure piss the majority off.
if N leaves the hardware business they'll just fade into oblivion like Sega. I also don't believe they can afford to fail another console generation, otherwise they're done in the home space and will need to go DS only.
I'm hoping this goes the same way as the 3DS, and they cut the cost by 1/3rd within the year. Give it affordability, and people will buy it, and devs will make games for it. I want this console, but it is way too expensive at the moment.
^^....that started selling out at around 8:20pm insanely fast when people caught on...good job on the early post, you get yours in???.
Yep, pre-ordered for now. Not sure if I'll keep it realistically looking at how much I really used my Wii U. Will keep up with the news and game release dates, to cement me keeping it or not. At least I got a spot though.

Zelda purists,it looks a little bit better on nintendo Switch vs Wii-U,the game was suppose to be on Wii-U Two years ago but kept being held back for Switch.

It's pointless to compare something to an E3 demo in terms of comparing platforms.

hated the wii
hated the fact i had no choice but to use the wii in order to play games like zelda and mario

that is true now that i think about it,Also...Nintendo says they have 3 million units in stock for north american so there "Shouldn't" be an issue with supply and demand.
i'll only see it to believe it,the Hype train is here and everyone is after one,Looks like the Nes Classic is happening all over again
I'm really curious about the tablet abilities of the Switch. Is it going to have a decent web browser? There's been raves about the parental controls. It could be a good alternative to an ipad mini or small android tab.
For history, the 3DS started off at $249 USD when it debuted in March 2011. Sales were lukewarm. The MSRP was slashed 4 months later to $169 USD, and that's when things started to take off. We could see something like this happening for the switch. I know that's when I'll be ready buy . I'll probably end up spending a crapload of money buying future iterations and limited editions, like I did with the 3DS. :P
I highly doubt the Switch will have a good browser or even good online support, considering they aren't even putting voice chat or social media into it, using a phone app instead.
never seen so many nerds rage on forums about reasons not to buy one,yet Xbox executives Gamers themselves are pre-ordering for the first hybrid portable gaming experience
The switch should have a internet browser and if they do its probably locked down pretty damn good since the 3DS got hacked from the browser by a link....legit took 6 seconds to do.
I think the switch could become really popular at school because you can connect up to 8 with out having a internet connection. Imagine 8 way Mario cart or Splatoon during lunch time.
