| Remote Starter Install
Hi,
I have a 2006 Acura TL with the factory alarm. I was wondering what kind of cost I would be looking at getting a remote start added to the original alarm? Or would I need to install a whole new alarm system with a new key fob to get the remote starter? If that is the case would i retain my power trunk and power lock functionality?
Thanks

you would need to add a whole new unit but it will have trunk pop and door lock/unlock option though.

We could make your factory remotes work to start your car. What is the range like on those remotes though?

Compustar and Fortin will both do what you need and give you all features.. both seem like a breeze to install and aftermarket remotes will get you longer range... which you would probably want if you park far away from your toasty living room. |
