a 7/10 girl would usually do the trick...if you play your cards right, it's free
the suction power is definitely sufficient especially in car interiors

i mean what.

I bought this for $30 in the states years ago. It's done the job pretty well. Con, it still uses a bag. But its a huge bag and i've only had to change it once since I got it.
Walmart or CanTire or Home Depot probably carries something similar.

Don't get the small handheld ones. Those things are weak as fuck

Man. My wife bought a dyson animal V6 and she loves it so much she vacuums my car for me now. The interior seriously looks like its been detailed like once every 2 weeks, and thats with dog transport in alcantara/cloth interior. Its fucking magic.

For the cars I grabbed a shop vac from Costco couple years ago for about $30ish. Still runs like a champ to this day but for the life of me I can't remember the brand right now. It has an orange tub and black top with a huge hose, maybe black & decker?

100% worth it. She also brushes the alcantara so the grain is all the same way and wipes inside the vent slats.

It depends on the size of your work space and what are you trying to do. Shop vac is cheap and can suck up large amount of liquid but lack of filtering means if you are using it a small space (like a normal garage) or close proximity to the car, you are picking up the dirt and throwing it in the air, so once you are done, the dust still settle. However if your work space is large (or outdoors) it doesn't really matter as much. Personally I find shop vac's standard hoses are not long enough.

Home vacuum works better in smaller work space, however you are limited to how much dirt you can hold. Of course in this case you want to use a canister vacuum instead of carpet / flooring one for obvious reasons.

The dyson rechargable is actually quite good for car detaiing, if you don't have a cord handy. Corded version is still much stronger though.

My shop vac has an optional HEPA main filter, and I put HEPA rated bags into it when I'm vacuuming dry stuff. ZERO dirt gets thrown into the air.
