Best way to backup a phone before reset?
 

I want to do a factory reset on my phone but I'd like to back up as much as possible beforehand. Things like pictures are easy to do but I'm not sure if there's a way to back up all my texts, notes, etc. Phone is a Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, I'll have to double check what version it's running (stock 4.something, the last official one).

For backing up text messages I recommend https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....smssync&hl=en
It backs up your sms/mms/call history to your Gmail. Note that you might have to monitor it and press backup multiple times. On my last Android phone I had to press it like 5 times because it stopped a few times for some reason. Other than that, I really recommend it. I've never restored any text messages using this.
