Timpo, while the pictures you've posted are undoubtedly gorgeous, please don't swamp this thread with countless pictures as you usually do. I'm just looking for information on lowering an AWD sedan in my quest for semi-VIPness and/or information on shops specializing in the VIP look.
Nearly all AWD comes from factory about an inch higher than stock, usually to accommodate the extra height required for the extra differential.
Among your choices, I would pick Infiniti, since there are just more of them out there. Remember AWD is a subset.
You would have to worry about the weird geometry would do to the extra drive train, probably more wear and tear especially on the transmission.. especially if driving on pot holed roads.
You should contact meme, doing a VIP on an Infiniti shouldn't be that different between models as they are all essentially the same platform.
As long as you have $$$ it is not a problem.. however you since you said "budget" in the first sentence that will become a problem.
I had a 00 RL on Anceltion coilvers and Wed Kranze and then an 02 Q45 on Junction Produce springs (not low enough). (Also a VIPstyle SC400) I learned that it is all about the stance and wheel fitment. If I was to do it again I would go Air Runner or other air setup.
Check out vipstylecars.com for plenty of info. Some platforms have more aftermarket support than others.
