Toyota 86 replica kit for Nissan 240SX('89+ S13)

Great idea, not everyone can afford a Toyota 86/Subaru BRZ.
You can pick up 1989+ 240SX for cheap on Craigslist, and do the conversion yourself.
There's going to be a Boxer-4 swap kit available for 240SX as well.

But seriously frs/brz seems pretty afford cars and it seems like that's what Toyota/Subaru were going for

I'd take a rebuilt 2013 with some frame damage over this abomination any day. Please don't drive that thing on the road and endanger others.

I guess everyone needs a hobby. I don't see much of a kit more than a one off.

I mean this guy made a Pagini 4HP kit car. So hobby is important.

Also I as long as the fabricator doesn't' cut into the unibody (which by the pictures he doesn't seem to have) it should be fine on the road.

I suspect Timpo is a image searching bot so the admins can mess with us.

Context is a lovely thing. The picture shows the cars are RHD, so chances are it is some SE Asian country that have rather brutal vehicle taxes.. Some increases as the car gets older (eg Singapore).

Not everyone lives in North America where cars cost is a small part of one's annual income.

Besides as I say, people needs a hobby.

Can't you get a real one down in the low teens now? I have a hard time believing anyone could get a clean 240SX shell, and then buy this kit, and then buy the drivetrain, and then do all the fab work to make it work, for a significantly lower enough price to justify it.

Why would you swap in that boxer engine anyways? You can bolt in and plug in an SR20 that makes more power for a lot less money.
