Nice to see somebody else who is interested in northern France and the WW2 history. Just went there in May and did a private tour of Juno Beach and the Canadian events during D day and the weeks after.

My kind of sight seeing as well. History is so dark yet interesting. Lots of blood shed on those fields and beaches

Didn't get a chance to check out the Tapestry in Bayeux (stayed there overnight at Hotel Luxembourg, what a cool town). I checked out one of the Musuems that had all the vehicles and gear/uniforms recovered and preserved from ww2 which was very interesting to see. The drive from location to location was fun in itself even with a 90hp 3 cylinder Renault. Essentially the route was through the country side Port Bessin -> Omaha Beach -> back to Longeus-ser-Mer to the artillery battery back to Bayeux. Next morning Bayeux -> Saint Marie Du Mont -> Utah Beach -> and then long haul to Mont-Saint-Michel and back to Paris through city centre including the Arc De Triomphe to Chantilly. Very action packed 2 days of drivint but totally worth it. Rest of my time was just in Paris. I'd suggest others considering road trips to bring a sleeping bag and rent a hatch back since there are loads of places to camp along the beach

Bought this bad sally not to long ago. 95000km. 1 owner. No accidents. Mint condition, the toolbox and medical kit are still in the car untouched from 1995.

Car drives like a cloud.

Not mine...but quite a rare sight to see... parked in a non-chalant way on ALBERTA St in Vancouver. looked like it was in real rough condition.

Don't use Photobucket - they stopped allowing Hotlinking without paying for an account ($600/yr option). Go use Imgur.
