Revscene Reviews: 2017 Mazda CX-3 Discussion Thread

Cx-3 revscene review

review link posted above, what do you guys think?
TL;DR
-It's a small, very small crossover
-limited trunk space
-drives really well
-gets 9L/100km with mostly city driving
-awd works well in the snow/ice
-stability control limits fun but keeps you in control

the downside of the cx-3 ... no power driver seat.. wtf mazda, wtf! not even in the GT.

even the GT mazda 3 has it.

OP:
- what was the out the door price for the test GT model?
- what are the competitors to the CX 3?

honestly for the size of the vehicle it's not really made for a family so only one person is gonna drive it. so that fact that it doesn't have powered seats its not a big factor.

tester was fully loaded GT so it's $33k with the tech package

I find the cx3 and small crossover segment pretty funny in general. This is basically a lifted mazda 2 with awd, people buy these things like hot cakes.

Personally, I prefer the CX-5 over CX-3, much more comfortable to drive and bigger size too while being easy to park

Honestly for most people the cx-5 is a much more practical and logical choice, but for someone that wants a smaller vehicle and doesn't require the space the CX-3 ain't bad

Most surprisingly is apparently how great the transmission is. Seen a few videos online, seems to do a really good job rev matching the downshifts and keeping everything going smooth.

it does rev match on downshift, up shifts aren't bad neither. not as fast as a dual-clutch but not bad for an auto

This bothers me a bit

the trunk area has a false floor with some room under, removing the foam and spare wheel there would be about 8" more depth in the trunk floor allowing for more storage but it wouldn't sit flush with the rear seats when folded. I feel like they could of but someone said nah lets not bother
