So for 2018 the Tiguan in NA would be longer by 10" cause we're fat
So now they've turned it into a Touareg, and will need to add back another small SUV to slot below the Tiguan. Just like how the CRV progressive went from its gen 1 size to its current size, so Honda added the HRV all over again.

Camry will sell like hotcakes. Heard the engines will be enhanced from MY2016. Of course, with Toyota, enhancements means maybe 1-2mpg gain and one extra torque or two.
that c-pillar design... it works/not works for me? i don't know why

New Camry looks great. Looking forward to the driving impressions. Strangely, the A-pillars look really thin though? Toyota has had trouble with small overlap over the past few years, I wonder if they've managed to address that with this.
Also, my favourite crossover the Qashqai is finally coming over to North America, and in Canada we get the proper name not the stupid "Rogue Sport" the US is getting always been jealous of how the UK got the better looking less Muricanized SUV, not the stupid Rogue.
Stinger looks really confused to me so far based on photos. The worst part is that stupid tail light line extended to the entire rear fender like wat?

optical illusion? not sure if i am explaining this properly but the a-pillar starts of thin at the base, but gets thicker as it reaches the roof?

Can't speak for the rest of the car (2D boxy front end stapled onto a curvy body, spaceship interior) but man everything from the B pillar and back looks heavenly. The new Odyssey probably has the best application of the new floating roof trend so far, the continuation of the chrome belt line trim works very well too.
Also quad exhausts on the XSE Camry
I think one of my favourite things about this auto show is that traditional torque converter autos are starting to make a comeback. Lots of cars getting 8/9/10sp torque converter autos (Honda, Toyota/Lexus, Hyundai/Kia, etc.) as opposed to DCTs which in the long run just can't match the reliability and longevity of a torque converter. It's becoming possible to make torque converter autos shift nearly as quickly as a DCT, which is great. I much prefer the smoothness of a torque converter auto over a DCT, especially for everyday driving.

The Stinger looks like it's built on the 2015 Genesis platform. The V6TT is going to be powering the Genesis G80 Sport. Surprised they did't mention the Tau V8 as an option since it's available on the platform already.
I have a V8 2G Genesis and it's pretty quick, I can only imagine how much quicker it can be in a lighter version of the car. My Genesis is damn near 5000 pounds...
