Building a Yamaha R1M out of Paper

Yep, trying to build a Yamaha R1M out of paper. I feel like James May in the Re-assembler series but this is going to make me a while.

Trying to make this:

So far I've cut out 2 pages out of the 1st of 5 sections, each of which have about 7 pages of parts to cut out.

This is going to be a slow process.

For anyone who wants to try it as well, here's the link to the bike:
https://global.yamaha-motor.com/show...ultra/yzf-r1m/

They also have a few different models:

Instrument cluster done. 5 hours thus far, most of which is just cutting out the parts.

0 paper cuts thus far.

small update, got the front cowl and mirrors done. I'm working very slowly on this and the instructions are not 100% clear.

One of my friends already built one of these paper crafts motorcycles, can't remember which one specifically though. We should have children do these to help teach mechanical reasoning and how to take a 2d object and shape it into 3D with only your hands

update? did you give up on it?

I was looking at this a while back too but I know I would give up on it before even reaching halfway through.

TOTALLY gave up on it after making the front cowl.

I am disappointed in myself for giving up but the instructions were not clear and made it so much more frustrating. In addition to how small some of the pieces were. It's like you need fingers that are made of toothpicks to assemble some of the pieces.
