Vancouver Motorcycle Show - 2017

As I'm sure you all know, the Vancouver Motorcycle Show is happening this weekend. It appears that the Friday hours have been extended to 12pm - 9pm to accommodate the crush of attendees that they have seen on that day in the last few years.

Friday, January 20th - 12pm - 9pm
Saturday, January 21st - 10am - 8pm
Sunday, January 22nd - 10am - 5pm

Here's my set of photos from the show. All in all a pretty good show.

That new R6, ughhhhh so sexy. I was caught several times in the yamaha section with my honda shirt lol. My honda reps were laughing pretty hard. The new SP is sexy as fuck too. Both bikes got the much needed update they deserved.

Can't justify the R6's price tag for it's updates.
basically, R1 forks, new fairings. Engine and frame remains the same.

I don't think you did your homework at all on the new R6. There are pages of info stating the differences. The price tag for 600's across the board seem to be going up but I would not even think to utter the words "remains the same" when discussing that bike.

-ABS (ya, the bike actually finally comes with abs)
-Traction control (another first, something this chasis has never seen!)
-Quickshifter option
-Complete overhaul on the exterior
-Revised suspension 43mm forks (kyb, fully adjustable front and rear)
-r1 suspension and brakes
-magnesium subframe
-Aluminum fuel tank

The motor already has 130hp and is the class leader for power. It doesn't need more power. I had this discussion with a coworker. They have classes for a reason. If you want more torque and power go to a 1000cc class. You can't always expect more and more power.
