Iceland

Anyone been? I am looking to go there at the end of August... rent a car and drive around over 10 days. I love nature and photography... not looking for any tourist attractions.

My friends went and said they enjoyed it quite a bit. There isn't exactly a ton of touristy things to do unless you're an outdoorsy type of person.

I'm not sure how your schedule is like, but try going around middle of June if you can to see a close to 24 hour sun.

A buddy of mine visited Iceland two years ago.

He loved the variety of outdoor attractions there.

He recommends the Skogafoss waterfalls, Black Sand beach, and of course a tour of the Northern Lights.

As for tourist landmarks, check out the Reyjavik Concert Hall and Conference Centre.

-quite a bit eye candy in Iceland too with the blondes there too.
