What's more mad than that is someone paid $434,500 USD to buy Justin Bieber's Libertywalk Ferrari 458 yesterday at Barrett Jackson. And the car has a claim on it.

America's economy is doing well for the moment, and at things like this, all it is is rich people wanting to show how rich they are.

There was another 89 GT-R with 23,360km on it that sold for just over $60,000 USD too... crazy...

Million+ for a GT2 Porsche... $415,000 for a 993 Turbo S... outrageous.

I saw a lifted jeep (Blue, Diamond show Jeep) roll across the block and snag a 60K+ USD bid today

EDIT: Another one just rolled of with a 69K bid... although it was significantly more built

That Justin bieber auction was funny. They asked him about the car prior and he knew nothing about it or cars in general. Then it got even more awkward when they were selling the car

This car is over 25 years old so it's legal to import into the states. So why the high price?

Because someone wanted to show someone else at the auction that they were richer than them.

These gavel drop prices are crazy but it must be the U.S. economy doing well and residents wanting to show their wealth as West mentioned. RHD JDM cars have a HUGE market in the U.S. though. They go bananas for them. How about that 70's Skyline that sold for $126,000 USD on BaT? Comments were screaming good buy and that the buyer got a good deal. WTFF? Really?

Bieber and his talks about the 458 were cringe worthy. He doesn't know fuck all about automobiles and looked like a fucking clown when he was trying to fumble through his words. Haha! They even mentioned the paparazzi story and the damage like that adds value or something. Fucking hype auctions :middlefinger:
