A new key / fob and programming from Honda was was $180. Haven't bought a manual yet. Plenty on ebay but of course depends on what you bought.

I don't know why but I really want to know what car you bought. The suspense is killing me for some weird reason lol.

What a tease. OP left us all blue balled metaphorically.

My next guess,
Porsche something

Its almost like OP was scared one of us was gonna go in and scoop up his deal or something

Should've just left out monetary value. Provides no useful info anyways.

maybe he bought a hellcat and they only gave him the reduced power valet key. id be pretty choked in that scenario myself.

edit: I dont want to list the car bought or put the dealership name out there because nothign is confirmed yet. The price wasnt a great deal, but it was fair, slightly below market value.

Thanks for everyones input. I have still today to cancel, so thats what I mean. I went to get the key priced out at a local dealership this morning and it was $960 tax in!!!!!! Fob and key

Why would you get it through the dealer? Call a locksmith.

Berzerker 01-31-2017 02:34 PM

On this topic... if only 1 key was provided, and 2 are usually sold with a vehicle, that would mean there is a key floating around there that is programmed to the vehicle's anti theft system.
Not only would I ask for a 2nd key fob (on an $80k purchase) but I would also demand that both be re-coded and make sure the other missing key is no longer valid to start the vehicle. It will still be able to unlock the doors but I would make sure it can't control the alarm and stuff.

Berz out.

I'm guessing Bentley GT, 04-07 Vintage. I know valet keys are optional on the new Continental, I'd assume they were offered back then too

Deal should be done, his 24 hours of remorse are over. OP, what's the car?
