Took Friday off waiting for the phone, UPS attempted delivery at 11AM, was eating brunch 5 feet from my door no door bell no knock nothing, got the slip have to wait till Monday Nov 06 to get a phone i preordered for Nov 3 lol. UPS guy is either a ninja or was in a rush and didn't bother to stop. First World Problems.

Got the same in the Ultra Hybrid for a bit more protection. Polycarbonate compared to TPU on the back so hopefully it doesn't stain, lol.

Nice. I find that hard back covers tend to scratch too easily so I went with the TPU instead.

TPU tends to yellow over time.. my case is made in South Korea though so hopefully they'd use better materials! :blushsmile:

is this not circumvented easily? if there's a way to wipe without unlocking somehow. The last time I looked at apps like Cerebus it survives factory resets and can be hidden.

I think the whole supply issue can be confirmed to be a bluff.

Chinese secondary market buyer price went from around 160USD over MSRP (this is for 20+ units at once) to barely 40USD... if one had to pay any taxes on them, they'd be losing money. For CDN models... forget about it, you'd be losing money after currency conversion even selling at cost.

Furthermore, I just checked the OR Apple stores (as I'd be heading down soon) to get one on my parents' Verizon account, the availability for all 4 variances are wide open when I checked today around 1PM for immediate pickup. Maybe Verizon is pulling some serious muscle... but still... wide open availability in all 3 stores near Portland.

It was delivery to the office.... we always had our online shopping deliver to the office. So much better than deliver to our homes when 905 of the time we aren't there and have to go pick it up ourselves.

Interesting - my order isn't supposed to ship until 21st Nov. I might pick one up in Portland since I'm going over the coming long weekend. Do you know if they sell them unlocked? From what I've read so far, even the Apple store is selling the X tied to a carrier (which I'm assuming means it's going to be locked).
