Its not bad within vancouver. My buddies don't have a problem using it. Only thing is it gets a bit spotty in some concrete buildings.
Speed test around downtown and metro. Freedom was either the same or faster then fido+rogers (this was tested a month ago)

No its not.. I'm with fido but couple friends swappped over to freedom. They've been running speed tests around town. Its actually the same if not faster

Are you sure? I "had" that $40 plan.. but apparently they just jacked the price up to $45 for me. I didn't notice till my friend pointed it out to me lol

I just phoned into Fido. Was already existing customer and asked to upgrade to the $60plan and gave it to me lol.
No contract.

Try again, Koodo and Telus are now offering the 10gb plan for 60 bucks.

The difference is the 10gb is permanent, verses being only two years

i signed my wife up at a store on Kingsway, Aspire Wireless i think and it was pretty crazy. It seemed like any one and everyone passed the credit check for the plan.

$60 byod 10gb lte advanced data permanant is a no brainer with one of the better networks

Yup, I waited for 3 hours exactly, finally got through, switched over from an old corporate plan

its permanent, just a text from fido this morning confirming this ( after signing up yesturday)

Jumped on this plan today too from last year's BYOP plan.
Hopefully these fuckers don't decide to hike the rates again anytime soon
