I see what you mean that Nardo looks a bit flat and 'primerish' like but maybe in real life it's different than photos. |
this needs a poll. Nardo with red calipers |
Nardo grey 1st choice, Red 2nd choice, Blue 3rd |
Nardo with red calipers is my vote |
Nardo with the black trim pack and red calipers would look sick. If you want something different, then go with blue with the black trim pack. White is nice but will be "just another white Audi" |
Ara Blue grey is boring |
when you're sitting there in traffic in a sea of white, grey/silver and black cars its refreshing to see a pop of colour. Ara Blue + Black Optics + Grey Calipers |
+1 for Nardo Grey and red calipers. |
All I have now is M3 and F150, we sold the Golf R before moving back to Van, I didn't want to keep a car that had suffered through a rough Alberta winter, was just going to buy a new Golf R but then grabbed the M3 instead.. M3 not cutting it as daily, need new tech in my life. M3 will get quite the make over soon, just waiting for one more thing to arrive in mail, and then for snow to fuck right off. Nerdoo Geh or Gaycier White, tough call here... |
I thanked everyone who posted, except Armind :troll: |
adopt me daddy turbo |
Ara Blue. |
Nardo grey. Saw some rs7 in Nardo grey. Sick color. The blue is nice but look suburuish to me. |
Are they limiting the number of car with a certain colour? If that's the case, who cares how many have been ordered... Your more worried about the total number that will be out there. If they are not limiting, then go for another colour. White is classy, the other greys are too. Blue if your under 30, or perhaps can't get that rice rocket phase out of your system. It is snazzy looking after all. |
Color is so important, I can barely live with myself when I buy the wrong color of car :s Wrong being one I don't like, fuck what everyone else likes or buys lol |
lol ^ yeh... But yea, back on topic Ara Blue with black trim and grey calipers, I think it will look great! |
white /w black trim |
Nardo. It's not as exclusive as they want you to think. But, it is very rare. I saw a nardo today (not RS3, but an S3) and it looks wunderbar. Nardo. And, congratulations, and great choice. Post pics when you get it.... 6 months from now... marinetraffic.com for that sea voyage. |
Nardo. Be a "bit" more unique |
Ara blue for sure |
Nardo looks nice on a big Audi, like a RS7. Blue or white. Don't waste your money on black optics or red calipers, unless you have no choice. Red calipers will covered in brake dust in no time. When do these show up on the roads? The S3 is so fast already for a DD... RS3 will be flying... |
ARA Blue and the black optics |

If you pass on black optics you get the big silver lower air dam piece in the front which i don't care for... Part of me hates the BO package because I know the gloss black trim will take a beating during washes, but such is life. I went back and forth on the red callipers, even now I'm not totally sold. I worry that having grey callipers on a Nardo car would look a bit dull. The more videos I watch of Nardo cars the more I like it. I suspect it will be like the LSB E46 M3, there will be tons on the road at first, then 10 years later everyone will want a Nardo.. and they will be impossible to find. On a white car you can't go wrong, red callipers will match red interior stitching and seatbelt trim + it's something to break up the exterior which is otherwise devoid of any color. Also on the subject of brakes, Audi cheaped out, the rear callipers are the standard A3/S3 units, would have been nice to get a BBK at all 4 corners... something I might have to take care of on my own. Off topic... 991.2 GT3, supposedly Porsche will make as many cars as people are wiling to order, though you might wait 18 months to get your car if you don't get an order in soon. Cities like VAN/LA/NY/London/HK will never get enough cars to satisfy demand, but for most other parts of the world it won't be hard to get a car if you order one. Having said that, god damn, Porsche has really cranked up the price of options, ouch. On a positive note though, the new GT3 costs 10% less in Canada than it does in the USA considering the exchange rate - we're getting a deal! |
