Also, pretty sweet ride for $65k all-in. Quote:
I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this absolves you of having to pay it since you're actually only "purchasing" a portion of the car's value (original price minus residual) and pay taxes (ie. GST) on only that portion. In a $100k car on a 4-year lease, that might be around $50k (rough estimate). When there's only a 1-2% difference in lease and finance rates (as with all German carmakers generally), leasing becomes a lot more appealing and even a 15% luxury tax wouldn't be nearly as painful if it did apply. |
Timpo would just warp back in time to 2008 and order a GTR, there is nothing else for him |

From what I hear, good luck walking out of the Porsche dealership with more than a couple grand discount on your new 911. |

I would also spend it on a C63S AMG or BMW M3 |
BMW M3 at 436 HP, meh BMW M3 at 600 HP w/ 25k competition package. Yes! I was looking at it yesterday, I would say it's a good buy. It comes with xdrive? |
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned a Lotus yet. Although I can't find any solid pricing for Canada. |

2015 Lotus Exige LF1 LIMITED EDITION - Lotus of Vancouver http://www.lotusofvancouver.com/wp-c...F5-762x456.jpg is it even possible to daily one of these? the first and last time i tried to get in and out of an elise i was practically crawling out on my hands and knees... i don't think i can do that every day :( |
Brand new? I'd buy a Toyota Sequoia Platinum. Love Toyota for reliability, resale, interface, overall value. Can tow a fun car in a trailer, seating for family for road trips, can add a TRD supercharger if desired and still have manufacturers warranty, maintenance is easy and not expensive. The list goes on. I wouldn't even consider another SUV and my plan, if budget allows, is to buy one in the next couple years. I'd fuck with an M2 though. Saw one next door at my work and it looks mean as hell. Love the bulkiness and body lines. Typically I hate on new Euro shit but the M2 excites me more than the 1M did in 2011. Not sure I could live with a sports car every day though. I'm old and cranky and my fun cars just sit because dailying them is an inconvenience. |
just buy 4 corollas... one for each occasion. The elegant Corolla S for your "luxury" touring The Corolla CE w/ 6speed for your light engaging "sporting" needs The corolla LE as your "daily" and finally Corolla LE ECO for your long distance "cruising" needs. The answer is always corolla! oh wait i think ill be over 100k if you buy 4.... but maybe they'll give you some good discounts and squeeze it into 100k budget |
Dream car supposed to be something near impossible to get... wtf is a 100k dream car? :fuckthatshit: If we are talking the best car under 100k all in, Volvo XC90 T8. Coming from a BMW fans, my cousin's XC90 T8 blew me away. X5 was toy in comparison. |

Excluding Lotus then I'd have to say I'm having a hard time coming up with anything that I'd want that goes much above $60k all-in (370Z Nismo or 4Runner TRD are all I can think of so far) |

Alpine white M2 Manual M performance exhaust all the carbon fiber parts offered (lip spoiler, diffuser, side splitter, front splitter etc etc.) And a M performance light up steering wheel :D Not sure exactly how much but its probably around 80k taxes in |

e36 with a welded diff |
Pretty sure a diesel G wagon (Non AMG) still rings in at over $115k... so next best bet, A diesel ML350 w/ offroad package. |
