where to buy riding gear got my class 6 license a couple years ago, finally looking to get onto a bike this summer! do you guys have any recommendations for stores/websites for riding gear? just looking for the basics for now (helmet/jacket/gloves, etc) good prices/selection is key thanks! |
Modern on 12th and Grandview. Put a package together - helmet, jacket, and gloves and they will give you the package deal. Love the moment when Aaron gives final presentation ... |
+1 Modern |
Modern Motorcycle. Nate and Aaron will put a package together for you. I was there earlier today actually |

"So the helmet goes for 300 jacket for 500 and gloves for 250 but we'll do everything for you for 199" But seriously helpful guys there, actually help you to find the right gear for you in your budget. |
+1 on modern. Got the bundle as well. If you think riding is for you, go for gear that looks good and you'll wear for a while. Got great boots, just wish I got better gloves (Kevlar ones.) |
How big is the discount from the bundle lol |

there isn't a set discount. Aaron with take a few minutes to put everything together and give you a breakdown on price. Let's just say, I walked in inquiring on a one piece Alpinestar suit, front and back protector inserts and gloves, all for track. After Aaron gave me the price, I paid for it all on the spot that day lol. |
+1 Modern. Shopped around alot, got 90% of ALL my stuff from Aaron, I still regret the other 10% |
if only they sold some dainese stuff. There's a slick looking brown dainese leather. *drool. I'll have to check it out at Pacific. |
