Got to make a kid's day recently with my GTR (Video)

He's a 14 year old kid who absolutely loves skylines and anything JDM. I had a day permit Friday when the sun was out so I sent him a message asking him if he wanted to go for a ride.

Props to you. You, sir, make the world a better place.

You should charge Timpo a bit of money for a ride in your GT-R so that the kid can fulfill his dream. :lawl:

That's awesome. Good On you he sounded like he had a blast. What was that road you were driving on in the later part of the video?

Awesome :) I was basically that kid when I was 15 except I wanted a ride in an evo and got my wish in an evo IV. After that I HAD to own one.

I think it's important to not be arrogant about owning a sporty car, more so when it's one that's priced out of reach for most people (not referring to my own). It's funny how as you get older you get accustomed to your car: the power, speed etc. But every now and again someone much younger will have the biggest smile seeing it and give a thumbs up or a shout out. I think those are my favorite moments because it instantly transports me back to those days when I wanted nothing more in life than to go for a ride in one, and maybe, own one someday.

Yeah. I'm happy to take him for a spin. He's a good kid.
I can remember being a petrol head from a young age like him.
