What're you all getting for gas mileage?

I know most of us didn't buy the car for their mileage, but curious to know.

Is it close to the EPA estimate for your car?

2016 Mustang GT 5.0 with 3.73 gears and a 6-speed manual. Between 15 and 16 L per 100 KM all city. All highway around 10 litres per 100 KM.

15 US MPG city, low to mid 20's highway.

2010 Corolla 2.4 auto. Only about 11 to 12 liters per 100 KM city and 8 highway.

With the way Vancouver is set up with its tightly spaced traffic lights, choke points, heavy traffic, it's difficult to get good mileage.

Went out to Maple Ridge today and could actually get some decent fuel mileage since it's so sprawled out.

09 Silverado with a 4.8 and 3.23's gets about 14.5-16MPG combined.

08 CBR 1000rr gets anywhere from 29-40MPG depending on how I treat her.

2006 BMW 325XI Sedan

Mainly highway driving (island highway, so still lots of stoplights), averaging 8.3 L/100 km according to the meter on my dash (28.3 MPG)

I haven't measured it against manual calculations since 2015, but it was pretty accurate back then (usually 0.1-0.2 L/100 km lower than manual calculations).

The new tires made a big difference; went from 8.7 L/100 km (27 MPG) with Nokian WRG2s/Bridgestone Blizzaks to 8.3 L/100 km with Pirelli P7 Cinturato A/S Plus. Blizzaks will go back on in November, though.

I range from 11l/100km mixed to about 14l/100km city. Not bad for a 20 year old m3 that gets taken near redline a few times every time its driven.
Can get to about 8-9l/100km on full on road trips.

2012 Tacoma v6 manual double cab short box small lift on 285/75r16

15mpg city 17 mpg hwy US mpg

Low 13L/100km city 15L/100km hwy.

Not close to epa rating but not stock.

Once more mid size trucks roll out with diesel options I will probably switch from the Tacoma. Not sure I truck the new gm mid size offerings, although the mileage they get is very tempting in a small truck.

2.4 engine, short commute (barely warms the car up), heavy traffic. EPA rating is only 22 city.

not sure why MPG is even being mentioned considering we live in Canada.

2011 F150 FX4 with the 5.0L V8 and 6spd auto trans with 3.73 rear end ratio. also running 34.5" BFG K02 tires. currently averaging about 20.5L/100km. on the highway i think i get about 17L/100km. it's also got a 136L tank so filling it up with gas is kind of a chore in itself but meh, dat V8 life is too good to give up.

16 Ram 1500 with 5.7L and probably 3.73 rear end and I think the 6spd auto

I live in an area where I remote start my truck for 20 minutes before I go anywhere... for 8 months of the year. Also live in an area where I rarely drive more than 5km's for any "trip"

Winter time I think my gauge was telling my like 30'ish L/100km and right now since it's summer time i'm down to 18'ish L/100km.

I still only fill up once every 2-3 weeks though so I don't really care haha.

2015 civic i'm averaging 7.5L/100km mixed hwy/city
2017 hr-v is averaging 8.5L/100km mixed as well

both have eco buttons, my wife uses it all the time on the hr-v but i honestly don't notice a difference on my car. I find it just makes a slow car even slower and has no impact on consumption. I've been tracking both cars on fuelly since new.

lol both cars average 9-12L/100km when we're running errands in Vancouver

Half the cylinders... half the fuel consumption? But also less than half the power sadly.
