So they can take a penalty and ruin any chance of a win, tie, or comeback.
If they don't have possession, they're pretty much............... nuff said. If this is their last year, it's a shame they have to end it on such a low note.
Anyway, as Emperor would say, "The Canucks, so good."

* I just realized the other day when someone on a poolie forum called Chicago a dumpster fire and I laughed...... until I saw that dumpster fire is still 10 points better than us
Nothing in my pocket but the bottom
And that's more than I can say for my shoes
Speaking of the blues I got 'em
Boy that's all I can afford to lose
I can't beg or borrow or steal a buck
And man that's nothing but buzzard luck
Can't get on relief cause I'm travelin'
Really have nowhere to go
My last pair of pants are unraveling
And I don't know a soul who can sew
Got in a fight, I was too weak to duck
And man that's nothing but buzzard luck
Just like the buzzard flying high in the sky
Can't kill nothing if nothing won't die
Ain't nothing boiling but the water in the pot
And it wouldn't be boiling if the fire wasn't hot
I left my little town in Texas
Spent three years in Illinois
And when I got back I was disgusted
I had a month old baby boy
She took me to court, the judge said you're stuck
And man that's nothing but buzzard luck
Just like the buzzard flying high in the sky
Can't kill nothing if nothing won't die
Ain't nothing cooking but the peas in the pot
And they wouldn't be cookin' if the water wasn't hot
I left my little town in Texas
Spent three years in Illinois
And when I got back I was disgusted
I had a month old baby boy
She took me to court, the judge said you're stuck

Also, I didn't realize Chicago was doing that poorly this season
The standings are surprising this season. Ottawa was a contender last year, while the Red Wings saw playoff action from 1990 to 2016. Then they started to suck.....
The Blackhawks standings really make the Kane/Toews re-signing look like a bum deal.
It's good that we have played more games than other teams. Allows them to get some more points and try to pass us in the standings.
But let's be real here. Chicago will win the draft lottery, end up with Dahlin, and Chicago will win another cup in the next few years. Or there will be a Karlsson and Dahlin paring on Ottawa...

Do you guys think that the Sedins should seriously consider retirement after this season?
I have been watching Hank and Daniel closely in the last 10-15 games, while trying hard to not fall asleep during those games. -tough to watch this team.
They are even slower than before. -What is noticeable is Hank's game with the penalties that he takes and his turnovers.
They are consummate professionals in the way they prepare for each game and their off season workouts show how much hard work they do to prepare for each season.
Henrik and Daniel revolutionized the game with their smart puck possession style. -good leaders that lead the team by example.
They are also great guys who have spent quite a bit of time and money in the helping the local community with charity work and other endeavours.
Having said that, is it time for the twins to think about life after the NHL and call it a career?

They have been great mentor, but its time for them to go. They are just too slow, and they are pretty much the last of the OG. They gotta bring in new guys and let them develop.
