holy shit...

Sedins are probably worth in the $4-$5M area each right now. Hometown discount with NMCs on 1-year deals may bring it down to $3.5M each.

Ultimately, if it’s a 1-year deal and we go with a bunch of kids on bridge deals and ELCs, it doesn’t really matter.

Its really a simple process for the Canucks.
You tell them at the end of the season you are interested in bringing them back for a 1 year deal to help prospects like Pettersson and Dahlen but at a lower cost(3-5mil) and guaranteed NMC.
If they ask for time, you reconnect June 1st & Jul 1 and tell them you would still appreciate them on the team but would need to know by August to move forward.
If they don't come back, you fill their positions by acquiring players that have short-term bad contracts, along with picks from other teams

not true. Canucks could have retained on one making it 10.5mil for both, or had reacquired Hansen for pennies and then retain on both. Add to the fact that teams would be sending back contracts freeing more space for them.
Out of teams in the playoffs/fighting for a spot and quickly glancing at available cap space/knowing contracts on the team.. LV, SJ, NJ, LA, NSH*, ANAH, FLA all could of fit them.
NSH would require them to trade a longer contract they have

OHL coaches poll came out http://ontariohockeyleague.com/artic...s-poll-winners
Gadjovich, Dipietro, Brassard all getting some love

Also BOESER off IR. (only paper move :()

I don't think Sedins are going anywhere. They sounded pretty firm that their loyalty is with the Canucks and that they're content with their careers. Not winning a cup would be OK. They seem like the type that wouldn't ditch their family even for a few months to prioritize a cup opportunity over them.

You can't even buy a house in Vancouver for that.
:okay:

Thank god you're not the GM.

He’s the GM of a fantasy team I’ll have you know

MG1 03-17-2018 06:38 PM

Canucks, so good..............

at tanking

Score once to make it look like you're interested in winning, then take hundreds of penalties in hopes of losing lead and then game.

MG1 03-17-2018 06:38 PM

See?

MG1 03-17-2018 06:43 PM

Nevermind pics of team members sitting/riding in a tank, someone make a pic of a dunk tank with canucks on platform, gulolololol.

LOL at the, "Travis Green" look.

pastarocket 03-17-2018 07:30 PM

The game is tied! Is this real life? Talk about Irish luck tonight for the team.

3 for 4 on the powerplay! :fuckthatshit:

MG1 03-17-2018 07:57 PM

Are there any Irishmen in the Canucks organization anymore?

Pat Quinn................ may he rest in peace.

last night was good. arz win over Calgary.
puts Calgary 6 pts back with 1 less game. would love to see them win one of the lottery spots as long as its behind us, as then they would have traded a top 3 pick, 2 2nds for travis hamonic

I've been saying for weeks now that Detroit is going to get him and its total BS

68style 03-20-2018 12:03 PM

As few pure goal scorers as the Canucks have ever had, they've never had a marquee defenceman... Jeff Brown, Jyrki Lumme and Mattias Ohlund the closest things... but nothing close to a Lidstrom or a Karlsson. Not that Karlsson has won anything in the NHL lol

Murdoc is right, the NHL will never let us have him hahaha

Hakkaboy 03-20-2018 12:54 PM

There's also former #1 overall pick Jovocop aka Special Ed

highfive 03-20-2018 01:54 PM

We do have #3rd overall ERIK GUDBRANSON! lol

MG1 03-20-2018 06:19 PM

Now that's how you sing the anthems. Pure and simple. Lots of power. None of this embellishing the song to hide your lack of talent.

Poor VanHoover Cannots. Way over their heads. I hope the VGK find it in their good christian hearts to show some compassion. 5-0 should be enough.

Hondaracer 03-20-2018 06:20 PM

jesus

murd0c 03-20-2018 10:20 PM
