Speaking of Buffalo... this is about as heavy of a read as it gets... I had to stop a few times and collect myself. I had no idea of his struggles all these years... and how crazy it is that he's still alive today.

WOW that was hard to read, talk about a sad story but happy he got through that stuff. I actually remember when he got cut from the skate and after that I was actually worried the same thing happen to me.
For those who haven't seen it or seen it in years here's the video.

I remember that game and how it was all over the news for days.
Numerous fans in the rink had to be tended to by paramedics as they lost consciousness, and one guy actually had a heart attack. In the rink. Because of the cut.
Fuk.
So much blood..... it still sends shivers down my spine.
PS: Here's a generic pic of the same $300 gel/kevlar neck guard that I wear in net.
People ask how I can spend that much on a neck guard. All I say is "Malarchuk"

Not related to hockey at all, but after listening to Jim Cornelison sing the Star Mangled Banner, I decided to research what the words were all about.

Are the Canucks trying to win this game? I guess the Blackcocks bring out the best in the Cannots.

Damnit to hell.......... the millions of times the Cannots try to score, they get a goofy one for free.

If anybody can lose after leading by three in 40 minutes, it's our VanHoover Cannots.

Don't think this was posted here.
This was from a few nights ago.
VIDEO
I've seen a player have his arm stepped in a scrum. Luckily for him, the cut was on the top and not the underside where all the arteries/veins/tendons are.
