There has been no Canadian team that won the cup for the past how many years? If Seattle gets a expansion team they probably have better chances than Vancouver for winning the cup lol.

A Canadian team has been to the finals five times since: Vancouver x2 (1994, 2011), Calgary (2004), Edmonton (2006), and Ottawa (2007).
4 of those series were decided in game 7 (Ottawa lost in 5).

Why is there such a LONG break ... the Eastern side played the full 7 games. We have to wait till Mon, nothing on Fri/Sat/Sun night. Bad planning, arena in Vegas overbooked? Long wait = lose interest ... bad planning on someone's part.

heard either on 1040 or 650 that before the season a vegas casino had odd of the knights winning the Stanley cup 500/1. One person put down $5000 for vegas to win and no the casino has told him they would give him $1,000,000 cash if he takes the money right now. I would assume the person would be a big gambler to take the money right now since he could end up winning 2.5 shmilllllll

Holtby stood on his head in game two. That stick save in the third period was sick! 
Special teams was the difference in this game. Ovie scores on the power play. Vegas does not score on a 5 on 3 powerplay.

Hopefully after that save the giant horse shoe that's been up Vegas' ass all year has fallen out. The Caps are clearly the better team.
