murd0c 07-01-2017 09:04 AM

thats way too much for Fowler

highfive 07-01-2017 09:07 AM

Gagner, sutter, gaunce and even granlund can all play centre and wing.

murd0c 07-01-2017 09:08 AM

Canucks just signed Patrick Wiercioch to a one year 650k contact as well

pastarocket 07-01-2017 09:16 AM

Shattenkirk is still not signed with any team so far. Any takers?

murd0c 07-01-2017 09:26 AM

something is going on with the Preds right now

Renthal 07-01-2017 09:27 AM

miller to anaheim at 2 years 2 million per.
thats less than bernier was makin last year at 2.75

pretty good tandem of miller and gibson

pastarocket 07-01-2017 09:43 AM

Here is the payroll and cap room info. from TSN free agent frenzy:

Salary cap: 75 million

Canucks payroll for 2017-2018: 65.5 million

Cap room available: 9.5 million

22 players signed.

1 player unsigned.

How much money will Benning offer to Bo Ho? :considered:

highfive 07-01-2017 09:59 AM

Good work so far from benning imo. Basically telling all the young guys that you have to fight and earn your spot on the team. Nothing is given.

cdizzle_996 07-01-2017 10:16 AM

Also signed 2010 8th overal pick, Alex Burmistrov

6o4__boi 07-01-2017 10:38 AM

I'm liking the Benning moves this year from the deadline so far

nice to see a lot of activity on our end for once

UFO 07-01-2017 12:39 PM

I didn't realize Anders Lindback had fallen so far over the last couple of years. I remember when he was poised to take over for Pekka Rinne before being shipped off to Tampa, more or less a sure thing as an up and coming young starting goalie who couldn't get the chance behind Rinne. Now signed to 2 way league minimum contract today

Sucks to be an establishing goalie in the new NHL

Ch28 07-01-2017 02:35 PM

Both Del Zotto and Gagner deals have no trade restrictions, so it gives us tons of flexibility come trade deadline

Hondaracer 07-01-2017 02:55 PM

The gange signing is gross but just met some of the rookies including pedersen[/IMG]

Well these new signings will get me to watch a few more games this upcoming season. Any news on Yak?

Mike Oxbig 07-01-2017 05:30 PM

Dude, you have a thing for yakupov or something? Edm gave up on him. St. Louis gave up on him. Nobody signed him on the first day of ufa. Guy is clearly not the 1st overall pick player anymore. There are skills and talent but if you don't have the mental strength to commit to being a pro, you don't get anywhere.

murd0c 07-01-2017 06:28 PM

I'm not sure about the burmistrov signing, I'm just happy this gives our young guys a chance to develop rather then throwing them into the fire so quick.

Jmac 07-01-2017 07:18 PM

Burmistrov is atrocious at faceoffs.

2-year statline:
130 games played
949 faceoffs
40.4% faceoff wins

Can see him playing 4th line, Gaunce takes the faceoffs and then switches to wing

See what kind of influence Manny will have on him. At first I was hyped about the possibility of yakupov. But it seems he is either asking way to much money, or has real issues. See how the next few days unfold, probably will end up on a pto or back in Europe.

jdmhaze 07-01-2017 09:35 PM
