Bure had an explosiveness to his speed, which made him look spectucular and gave him that extra half a step to getaway, but he wasn't THAT much faster than his opponents. And I'm saying this as a huge Bure guy.

McDavid is whole other level. So much power in all his strides, not just the first 2 or 3, looks effortless. You don't realize he's actually that fast without seeing him pull away from guys trying to chase him down. Then you realize that he's doing this while controlling the puck at the same time. And he'll probably still be faster and stronger in another year or two

Green's system looking pretty good... At least it's exciting. Except Sedins have been invisible with their lack of speed.

Sedin line has 5 shots not including a crossbar and a post. Not fast but have gotten chances.

Also, they were the only positive Corsi line on the team.
