Like most, I questionned having Dorsett in the lineup over Boeser. Dorsett has proved me wrong, for at least this first game, as he played well and with an uptempo game. It seem that he really got under McDavid's skin too.
Now I think Boeser should be in instead of Erickson. How many more years do we have this guy for?
I was listening to commentary as to why Dorsett was put in instead of Boeser and it made sense. Brock will get his shot for sure, no need to worry. I actually like that Green is taking this early step into letting his players and management know that the fans will not dictate his game plan. As much as we are excited to see Brock play, it has to work towards the team goal of winning. In this case, Dorsett was needed for the physical, agitator role (and it worked).
Plz scratch Eriksson for Brock instead.
I don't care if his cap is $6m AAV (he's actually making 8m this year). The only reason he's not in the press box is because it would look incredibly stupid of the management to have invested so much in him. If he was making under $2m he would have been benched a long time ago.

tho my belief when I heard brock was scratched for a second game is that the team played well against the oilers so why change this
