Good effort boys. Losing while playing like this isn't so bad.

lol, that one shift late in the 3rd period where Henrik blind back passed it to no one and then completely missed the loose puck along the boards 10 seconds later...

Whole team was playing overly aggressive in the third when the game was tied. How many breakaways and odd-man rushes did we give up in the final 10 minutes?

He cost the team at least a point. | If you watch carefully, Hutton got tripped by Tatar right before the goal.

Don Cherry will probably drop the gloves with Ben Hutton for reaching in and tipping Tomas Tatar’s shot that beat Jacob Markstrom for the game-winning goal, but I’m instead going to drop the gloves with the referees who somehow missed Hutton get blatantly tripped by Tatar a moment before the goal. There’s a reason why Hutton was so far out of position on the goal.

yeah tatar tripped him but there was no reason for hutton to be that high by the blue line...super high risk play for him and if he gets beats its a 2on1 down low which is what happened

Ben Hutton looked terrible on the Red Wings’ game-winning goal: he was up by the blue line with the puck in the Canucks’ zone, he fell to the ice, allowing Tomas Tatar a free path to the net, and he reached in and deflected Tatar’s shot past Markstrom. Only, he was by the blue line by design: he lined up for the faceoff along the boards and broke forward right as the puck dropped on what appeared to be a set play for them off the faceoff. As for falling, that’s because Tatar’s stick was in between Hutton’s legs, tripping him with no call. There’s not really any excuse for reaching in and tipping the puck, but 9 times out of 10 that play prevents a shot on goal instead of causing a goal.
| Set play, defenceman on an odd-man rush.

Honestly I'd like to see Biega stay in the line up over Hutton when Edlers is back. Puliot is quietly showing that he can infact play defence.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Pouliot as a top 4 on this team by the trade deadline once Gudbranson is moved

Much better anthem singing than last night's game. No frills........... the arrangement of the accompaniment was a little weird, but hey, it was different. Much better than useless embellishments by the singer.
Last night's singer was such a lounge lizard. More turns and flips than a Baroque arrangement.

Not sure if Horvat demoted to Gagner-Vanek line or Baertschi-Boeser demoted to Burmistrov line

Maybe upgraded to the Gagner-Vanek line. Gags and Vanek are playing great this game.
