What would be really cool is if the players got to wear helmets like the one on the logo. Even if it's just for show on opening night festivities. so its said now that LV has about 8 trades in place right now for a total of 10 draft picks and by the sounds of things there are more to come on top of that. One of the big rumors as well is that LV is going to be trading up for the #2 pick that Philly has.

Rumoured side deal with FLA sounds pretty creative on McPhee's part:

How convenient that Hossa has a "skin condition" that will essentially wipe his $5.275 cap hit for the years to come.
He will likely never play again. Guy is 39 and will be missing all of next year and his contract runs to 2021. All magically off the books for Chicago.

I think the NHL wanted this so LV has the best possible chance to build a team that will compete, that being said this is an ultimate rebuild that any GM would love to do.

Way to give all the power to LV. | Agreed, I can understand negotiating draft picks to not pickup certain players off the unprotected list but they shouldn't be able to trade the players they take from existing teams for 1 year or even until halfway through the season which would curb a lot of the bullshit.
It's like going to the buffet and loading your plate with shit you have no intention of eating then heading outside and reselling it to other people outside the restaurant. You're only suppose to take what you're going to eat, the NHL fucked up.

Said they would be shit. More important to go for lottery next year. They should get a 2c 1g and maybe some top 6 out of their 1st round picks this year though. Along with prospects/young players like tuch and theodore
