The way things are looking it doesn't seem that way, all depends what he's able to do at the trade deadline tho.

I certainly hope that JB gets a contract extension from Aquaman/Linden.

Think about it. Benning's talent in drafting is undeniable. He's rebuilt this team with drafting talented offensive minded players like Boeser and Petersson.

Then you have other players like Demko, and Gadjovich who will play on the team one day.

-made some good trades such as acquiring Baertschi and Granlund.

Dim Jim is not perfect. He did mess up with the long term contract, with a modified NTC for the underperforming Erikssson.

The good things that Benning has done for this franchise with his drafting outweigh the bad free agent signings that he has made as GM.

I hope so too. Let JB finish this. He drafted fairly well and honestly, we haven't seen the team he assembled play half a season together. Seems like we always get hit with the injury bug.
