There's no code in hockey that says star players can't make big hits. Or that you can only do it to exact revenge. Sometimes they do it to get themselves or their team going. Yeah, it sucks sometimes that they won't answer the bell after but that's the way it is. The best you can do is line him up next shift or later in the game.
