Yes - if you miss a leg, they will cancel all remaining legs.

I told a friend about a trick I read here on RS about finding cheaper flights to TO by not connecting for the 2nd leg to Florida (for example)... he asked about luggage. I didn't have an answer. In my limited experience with connecting flights I believe they've transferred my luggage.. can you request they don't load onto next flight or am I mistaken here?

kr4l 08-08-2017 06:56 PM

I believe it was the same deal. The only reason mine is lower is because one of the flights is not business class which lowered the rate. I believe every flight was like the one we got. Always a connecting flight from Seattle/San Francisco/some other places that leads to layover in Tokyo before heading to Australia.

It found some flights I wanted to purchase but was gone when I went to pay for it. Took me about 30 minutes of trying before finally getting this one. It's not ideal, but for the price I paid, it was a damn steal. I also bought it for the inlaws so I didn't really care for the times and dates

No they will not pull your luggage. People who skip the last leg just take a carry on from what I understand.

Wife just called ANA to try and upgrade the one leg that was none business class. Thought we might be able to luck out and pay $500 to upgrade to business class. They were nice enough to upgrade to business class at no charge!
