Best Lexus Dealership Van

Im looking to buy a Lexus NX for the wife, but went into Richmond Lexus and they looked at me like I was a homeless person in the wrong place hahaha.

I rmb reading someone saying they had the same experience at Richmond Lexus, pretty much all they do is cater to fobs and theres really no need to make a sale.

Anyone have any recommendations

wait for the 2018 NX, it should be out pretty soon.

facelift version - exterior and interior upgrade etc.

VR6GTI 08-12-2017 10:47 AM

I had same experience at Port Moody Lexus a few years ago. I purchased elsewhere

bcrdukes 08-12-2017 10:51 AM

Out of curiosity, do you guys make an appointment when you go in to these Lexus dealers? Or did you guys walk in randomly to wait for someone to help you?

I heard good things about Regency Lexus on Burrard

Edison_Chen 08-12-2017 04:24 PM

My parents bought their RX at north shore (Jim Pattinson) Lexus. They shopped around Regency, open road and North shore gave them the best price

dvst8 08-12-2017 05:48 PM

Regency (howard) or Port moody Lexus are good.
Stay away from Richmond, theyre too good for everyone.

Regency Lexus Burrard.

Should go back there with your R35 GTR, they'll probably kiss your butt like no tomorrow.

Bought my old IS from Cody @ N Shore Lexus. Best dealer transaction to date.

I find I get treated way better if I make an appointment. Every time now that I go to a dealership I do that. Otherwise, I generally get ignored.

So the Saleperson know what you are looking for. They can prepare couple of models & package to showcase to your likes.

I've had nothing but great service at Richmond Lexus. We've bought 6 Lexussss Lexi from them over the years and it's been nothing but great experiences. Their sales staff is stable. The same guys sold us the is300 stold my dad the 2017 rx350

Truenosan 08-13-2017 10:33 PM

Regency Lexus. My grandparents purchased their RX350 from them back in 07, and my mom picked up a 16 NX200t from them as well. Was treated very well, and the new Lexus Global design showroom is just amazing.

Regency Lexus, I've made my purchase there and got nothing but good things to say about them. They make you feel VIP every visit.

bcrdukes 08-14-2017 07:28 AM

So just to follow up on my original post - I asked because I only make appointments with dealers to see a car, regardless of make/brand.

Each and every time I've made an appointment, I have been well taken care of, even if I show up looking like a Main Street hipster. Richmond Lexus offered a pretty good experience when I looked at an IS250 a few years back, and recently an RX350.

I suggest you guys make appointments. I would like to think that you will have a better sales experience as opposed to simply walking in.

Well thanks for the recommendation guys, Regency Lexus did it for me. I didn't do anything different (still same homeless look lol and I didnt take the GTR), but upon entrance to the showroom, the receptionist got up and asked me right away if they could help me with anything.

Right after, she introduced me to a sales agent and asked me what I was looking for, showed me everything that was available, and even worked out a good price for me. Nothing but positive review for Regency. Even though their showroom might not be piano white marble, or have huge 50ft glass windows like richmond, their service more than made up for it. Wife is happy and I'm happy, thanks again RS!

Definitely a good idea for you guys looking to purchase in the future. I never opted to make an appointment mainly due to the fact that I assumed I would get hard sell by the sales team or pressured. My experience with Richmond Lexus was negative because I merely would like to at least be greeted and asked if I needed help with anything. I wandered in, looked at the spec sheets, sat in the car and whatever and not one person came up to me and spent a second to ask.

Congrats on your new ride! Glad it all worked out. I knew it would!

Like you, I just walked right into Regency Lexus as well, and was quickly greeted and made VIP. Cheers!

Congrats on your purchase !

which sales agent did you get it from ?

maxx 08-17-2017 11:37 PM

Congrads, Regency would have been my choice!

G0rilla 08-18-2017 06:58 AM

Thanks everyone! The salesman's name was Andrew, an middle age guy. What stuck out was that I found older sales usually dont bother to acknowledge younger people (i'm 29, young ish?) when they walk into dealerships without their parents. I told him I was also interested in the RX too, and he showed us the new and the preowned, and determine our needs, and made recommendations as we went along chatting. It was also on a Sunday around closing time, I felt bad to have to make him stay late lol

Anyone have a contact at a Lexus dealership? Looking to put myself on the list for the GX 550 but the few people I spoke to online seem like f'king pricks.

Badhobz 11-20-2023 11:45 AM

i bought all my cars at openroad lexus EXCEPT for the ratrolla.

If you go to openroad lexus richmond, go see a guy name phillip ngai
https://openroadlexusrichmond.com/advisors
hes a total old cantonese ah bak who's been around for 30+ years. You wont get the best service, but you get consistency and no bullshit. He'll be very straight forward with you.

Regency is fantastic as well. I got my ratrolla with the help of Kennard Wong and the GM of that place is truly a fantastic individual. Andrew Lee (which might have been the sales guy that gorilla saw back in 2017) is one righteous dude.

Regency's got my pick for getting a better experience. North shore wasnt bad either, there's some white guy i dealt with up there before to put in the allocation for the LC but it ended up not coming in on time.

Awesome, thanks.
