MGReviews at Road America for United Sports Car Series
Last week I got back from a 2 week vacation along the East Coast of the US and while in Chicago I decided to head north to Road America to catch one of the races of the United Sports Car Series. For those that don't know, it's a multi-class race series (much like LeMans and World Endurance Championship) that resides in the US (with one race near Toronto).
Firstly, the Ford GT, Porsche RSR, and Corvette Z06 are insanely loud. Second, this is one of the most entertaining racing series to watch. Wildly different cars in terms of looks and sounds but very similar in performance is just so much more fun to watch and hear than 20 nearly identical F1 cars. If any of you get a chance, go see one of these races. It was only $50 to get in with unlimited access including the pits area just before the race.
